Legal
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 July 2026 · Applies to ouridea.ai, app.ouridea.ai and all OurIdea.ai products (abi. Clone, abi. Clone for Consultants, abi. FDE, abi. Pulse, abi. Launchpad, FirstFlight, SIGNAL & SIGNAL Academy, abi. Starter, abi. Pro, and the abi. Free plan)
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OurIdea.ai website, the abi. platform application, abi. Launchpad, SIGNAL and SIGNAL Academy, and any other product or service we make available (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, starting a free plan or trial, or purchasing any Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. About us
| Trading name | OurIdea.ai |
| Company | OurIdea Ltd |
| Registered in | England and Wales |
| Contact | adam@ouridea.ai |
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean OurIdea Ltd, trading as OurIdea.ai. "You" and "your" mean the individual or business entering into these Terms.
2. Our products
We provide AI-assisted go-to-market ("GTM") engineering products and services, currently comprising:
- abi. Launchpad — a one-time AI-generated GTM strategy pack and assessment, delivered digitally (one-time purchase, £97).
- SIGNAL & SIGNAL Academy — a GTM methodology and certification course, sold as 12 months of access on a per-seat or team basis (Per Seat, 5-seat, and 15-seat tiers, billed annually).
- abi. — our GTM intelligence platform, available as:
- Free — limited access (abi. Pulse assessment only), provisioned automatically on signup, no payment required.
- abi. Starter — full platform access, billed monthly (£149/month).
- abi. Pro — full platform access plus advanced features, billed monthly (£497/month).
- Trials — we may offer time-limited trials of Starter or Pro (currently 14 days); see section 5.
We may add, change, or retire products and plans over time. Current pricing and plan details are shown at checkout and in your account settings.
All outputs — including abi. Launchpad packs, SIGNAL Academy content, and abi.'s weekly health scores and AI-generated insights — are produced using a combination of artificial intelligence and structured frameworks. They are advisory in nature and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. You acknowledge that the quality of outputs depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information and data you provide or connect.
3. Your account & responsibilities
- You agree to provide accurate, complete and truthful information when signing up, completing an intake form, or connecting a third-party tool.
- You're responsible for all activity under your account, including any team members or seats you add (subject to your plan's seat limit).
- You must keep your login credentials confidential and use the Services only for lawful business purposes.
- You retain full responsibility for any business decisions you make based on our outputs — you should independently verify outputs before acting on them.
- Detailed rules on acceptable use (including what you can't do with our products) are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Payment terms
- All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated, and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
- One-time purchases (abi. Launchpad) and annual purchases (SIGNAL) are payable in full at checkout.
- Monthly subscriptions (abi. Starter, abi. Pro) are billed in advance on a rolling monthly basis via our payment processor, Stripe, until cancelled.
- We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect a purchase you've already confirmed, and we'll give existing subscribers reasonable notice before any price change takes effect on their next renewal.
- If a recurring payment fails, we'll attempt to retake payment and may suspend access to paid features until payment succeeds or you cancel.
5. Free plan, trials & cancellation
- Free plan: the abi. Free plan is provisioned automatically on signup at no cost and gives access to the abi. Pulse assessment only. We may change or limit Free plan features at any time.
- Trials: where offered, trials give temporary access to abi. Starter or Pro features for a stated period (currently 14 days). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, we may ask you to add a payment method to continue, or your account will revert to the Free plan — we will not automatically charge you without your agreement to start a paid subscription.
- Cancelling a subscription: you can cancel abi. Starter or Pro at any time from your account settings or by emailing adam@ouridea.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then and won't be charged again.
- SIGNAL renewal: SIGNAL access runs for 12 months from purchase. If set up to auto-renew, you'll get a reminder before each renewal and a short cooling-off period after a renewal charge, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Refunds & your right to cancel
By purchasing a Service, you acknowledge that digital content or access typically begins immediately (or shortly after purchase), and that — to the extent permitted by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — you waive your statutory 14-day cancellation right once delivery or access has started.
Outside of that waiver, our full refund, cancellation and cooling-off terms — including the specific rules for abi. Launchpad, SIGNAL and abi. subscriptions, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if something is faulty or not as described — are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms overrides your statutory rights.
7. Delivery of services
- Services are delivered digitally via our website, the abi. platform, email, and downloadable documents.
- Delivery and processing timelines (e.g. abi. Launchpad report generation, weekly abi. insights) are estimates and not guaranteed.
- We're not liable for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete user input, technical issues outside our reasonable control, or outages of third-party platforms you've connected (e.g. HubSpot, Stripe, Google Analytics).
8. Intellectual property
- All content, frameworks, methodologies (including the SIGNAL methodology), course materials, software and system designs remain the intellectual property of OurIdea Ltd.
- You're granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use outputs (abi. Launchpad packs, SIGNAL Academy completions/certifications, abi. insights and reports) for your own internal business purposes.
- You may not resell or redistribute outputs, repackage them as your own commercial offering, or use them to build a competing product or service.
9. Confidentiality
Separately from our data protection obligations (section 10, which covers personal data specifically), this section protects the wider business information each of us shares with the other.
- What's covered. "Confidential Information" means any non-public information disclosed by one party to the other, whether in writing, orally, or through use of the Services, including: for you — your business plans, financial information, ICP and target data, GTM strategy inputs, launchpad/intake answers, and any data pulled from tools you connect to abi. (e.g. CRM, billing, analytics); and for us — our product roadmap, unreleased features, pricing (beyond what's publicly listed), source code, prompts, system architecture, and the SIGNAL methodology and course content.
- Obligations. Each party agrees to keep the other's Confidential Information confidential, use it only to give or receive the Services, and protect it with at least the same care it uses for its own confidential information of similar sensitivity. We only share your Confidential Information with the sub-processors listed in our Security & Sub-processors page, and only as needed to deliver the Services.
- Exclusions. These obligations don't apply to information that: was already lawfully known without restriction before disclosure; is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the receiving party; is received lawfully from a third party with no duty of confidentiality; or is independently developed without reference to the other party's Confidential Information. Either party may disclose Confidential Information where required by law or a competent authority, giving reasonable advance notice where lawfully possible.
- Survival. These confidentiality obligations continue for as long as the information remains confidential, and in any event for at least 3 years after your account is closed — this doesn't limit the ongoing data protection obligations set out in section 10.
- Our access to your abi. FDE audit. Delivering abi. FDE requires our personnel to be able to see the audit we are building for you: the organisational map, the interview responses that produced it, the systems inventory, and any documents you upload. We undertake that such access is limited to personnel who need it to deliver, support or troubleshoot the Services; is used only for that purpose; is never disclosed to another customer or used to benefit a competitor of yours on an identified basis; and is subject to the confidentiality obligations set out above. Named individuals in your organisation may appear in your map by role and, where you provide it, by name. That remains your data.
- Interview responses. Where your colleagues answer intake interviews, their answers form part of your Confidential Information. We do not present an individual's responses back to you as a performance record, and abi. FDE is not a monitoring or appraisal tool. You agree not to use it as one.
- Beta testers. If you or your team participate in beta testing or early access to any Service, you'll separately be asked to accept a specific Beta Tester NDA covering discussion of the product and your involvement in testing it, which sits alongside (and doesn't replace) this section.
10. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full detail on what we collect, why, how long we keep it, where it's stored, and your rights is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Services you confirm you have the right to share any data you input or connect (including data from third-party tools you link to abi.). See our Privacy Policy, section 9 for a full breakdown of where your data is stored geographically, and our Security & Sub-processors page for the current sub-processor list.
11. abi. FDE: your audit, our access, and optional permissions
This section applies if you use abi. FDE. It sits alongside sections 9 and 10 and does not reduce them.
"Clone" means the interactive model of your organisation produced through abi. FDE: your departments, roles, systems, processes and the connections between them. Building and keeping your Clone is free on any account. AI intake interviews, and the analysis derived from them, are part of abi. Starter and Pro.
- You own your map. The organisational map, process inventory, systems inventory, interview responses and uploaded documents produced through abi. FDE are your Confidential Information and your property. We claim no ownership of them. You may export the audit at any time, and you may ask us to delete it in line with our Privacy Policy.
- Why we can see it. As set out in section 9, our personnel can view your audit in order to deliver and support it. That access is part of the Service rather than a separate permission, and is limited to that purpose.
- Three optional permissions. Once your first map is built we will ask you, in the product, whether you wish to grant any of the following. They are independent: you may grant any, all or none of them. Refusing all three has no effect on your account, your pricing, or the Service you receive.
- (a) Capability improvement. Permission for us to study the structure and process patterns in your map to improve our audit and automation capability. This concerns organisational shape and workflow patterns, not your commercial data, customer lists or financials.
- (b) Anonymised marketing. Permission for us to feature your map in our marketing and on our social channels with your organisation's name, logo, individuals' names and other identifying labels removed.
- (c) Attributed marketing. Permission for us to identify you by name and logo in that material, so that it also serves as exposure for you. This is only available if you have also granted (b).
- How permission is recorded. Each permission is stored against your project with the date it was granted and the account that granted it. A decision to refuse is recorded the same way, so that we do not ask you repeatedly. You can view and change your choices at any time from within abi. FDE.
- Licence you grant us. Where you grant (b), and (c) if applicable, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, publish and display the permitted material for marketing and educational purposes, and to use your name and logo where (c) applies, in each case in accordance with any brand guidelines you give us.
- Withdrawing permission, and what withdrawal does not undo. You may withdraw any permission at any time. Withdrawal operates prospectively: we will stop the relevant use and will not create new material relying on it. Withdrawal does not require us to withdraw, recall, alter or destroy material already created or published while the permission was in force. Such material may remain in place, including in third-party feeds, archives, caches, printed matter and copies already distributed, over which we have no control. Where a permission is withdrawn we will, at your request and where reasonably practicable, remove the material from channels we directly control. This allocation of risk is deliberate: it is the basis on which we are willing to invest in producing the material at all.
- What we will not do. We will not sell your audit data. We will not identify you in marketing material unless you have granted (c). We will not use your audit to advise or benefit a competitor of yours on an identified basis. Where you have granted only (a), nothing derived from your map will be published in a form that identifies you.
- Personal data is separate. Where any of this involves personal data, our lawful basis and individuals' rights are set out in the Privacy Policy. Nothing in this section limits a right any individual has under data protection law, including any right to withdraw consent to the processing of their own personal data. That right is separate from, and unaffected by, the contractual licence described above.
11b. Mapping organisations other than your own
You may use abi. FDE to map businesses other than your own — clients, subsidiaries, or prospects you are pitching. These terms apply in addition to the rest of this agreement when you do.
Your authority
You must have the mapped organisation's permission before you map it or invite its people to be interviewed, and your contract with them must allow you to engage sub-processors such as us. You are responsible to them for our involvement. We rely on your word here because we have no way to check it.
Our role
Where you map a third party, we act as your sub-processor and process on your documented instructions. Section 10 and our Privacy Policy set out how. Our data processing agreement is available on request and forms part of this agreement where you process third-party personal data through the platform.
Proposal maps
A proposal map is built on your assumptions about a business you have not yet audited. The platform marks every proposal map as assumptions, in the product and in anything exported from it, and you must not remove or obscure that marking or present a proposal map as a completed audit. Doing so is a breach of these terms, and it is the sort of thing that causes a client to lose confidence in you as much as in us.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you assert in a proposal, including any estimated savings. The platform prices savings using an hourly rate you set. That figure is arithmetic on your inputs, not a valuation, a forecast or a guarantee.
Limits
The number of active maps your account may hold is set by your plan and shown in Settings. Archiving a map frees the slot. AI interviews and document reading are metered separately.
When the engagement ends
As between you and us, maps in your account are yours and we act only on your instruction. We have no separate relationship with the organisations you map and will not act on their instructions without yours. On request, or within 30 days of your account closing, we will return or delete them.
Branding
abi. FDE is not white-labelled. Maps, exports and interview pages carry OurIdea branding, and interviewees are told they are speaking to an assistant provided by OurIdea on your behalf. Do not represent the platform as your own software.
12. AI-Generated Guidance & Disclaimer
The Services, including abi. Pulse and abi. Launchpad, are provided "as is" and "as available". This section sets out how we treat AI-generated guidance specifically.
- Nature of AI Outputs. abi. Pulse's GTM health score and recommended actions, abi. Launchpad's strategy pack, SIGNAL Academy content, and abi.'s weekly insights (together, "AI Outputs") are generated using large language models combined with structured frameworks, based on the information you provide and, where applicable, data from tools you connect. AI Outputs are inherently probabilistic — they may contain factual inaccuracies, outdated assumptions, omissions, or recommendations unsuited to your specific circumstances, and do not reflect real-time market, legal, financial, or competitive conditions.
- Not professional advice. AI Outputs are general business guidance only. They do not constitute legal, financial, tax, investment, employment, or other professional advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether and how to act on any AI Output before implementing it. You retain full responsibility for all business decisions, strategies, hires, spend, pricing, or other actions taken on the basis of abi. Pulse, abi. Launchpad, SIGNAL Academy, or any other AI Output — whether you act on it directly or rely on it indirectly through advice you give to others.
- No liability for outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, cost, or business outcome (including lost revenue, missed opportunities, reputational harm, or failed initiatives) arising from your reliance on, or implementation of, abi. Pulse health scores or insights, abi. Launchpad recommendations, SIGNAL Academy guidance, or any other AI Output — regardless of whether we knew or should have known such reliance was likely. This exclusion does not apply to loss caused by our fraud or wilful default, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (see section 13).
- Human-in-the-loop. abi. Pulse and abi. Launchpad are designed to support — not replace — your own judgment and that of your advisors. We strongly recommend reviewing AI Outputs with relevant stakeholders (e.g. finance, legal, leadership) before making material business decisions based on them.
13. AI Governance
- How AI Outputs are produced. abi. Pulse, abi. Launchpad and abi.'s weekly insights are generated via Anthropic's Claude API, using prompts and frameworks we design, version, and review. Every AI feature runs against a structured framework we control and periodically audit for quality — we don't expose raw, unmoderated model output.
- No training on your data. Data sent to our AI provider to generate your outputs is processed in transit only and is not used to train any model, ours or theirs (see our Privacy Policy, section 4).
- Data minimisation. Where AI Outputs are generated from connected business tools (abi. only), we send computed metrics and your stated context — never raw customer records, contact personal data, or financial account details.
- Change control. Material changes to the methodology or frameworks behind abi. Pulse, abi. Launchpad or SIGNAL Academy are reviewed before release. We may update prompts, models, or frameworks at any time to improve accuracy, and outputs may therefore vary over time even for the same inputs.
- Human escalation. If you believe an AI Output is materially wrong, harmful, or inappropriate, contact adam@ouridea.ai — we review reported issues and use them to improve our frameworks.
14. Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
- Our total liability to you in connection with any Service is limited to the amount you paid for that Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- We don't guarantee any specific business outcome, revenue growth, or market result from using our products — outputs are advisory, and outcomes depend on your own execution and market conditions. This applies in particular to decisions made on the basis of abi. Pulse or abi. Launchpad guidance, as set out in section 11.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
15. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms (including our Acceptable Use Policy), misuse the Services, we suspect fraudulent activity, or your account is significantly overdue on payment. Refunds on termination are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and your statutory rights, not waived by this section.
16. Force majeure
We're not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet or hosting outages, third-party platform failures, natural disasters, or government action.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence where applicable.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, pricing, or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice before they take effect; continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
