Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026 · Applies to GTM Launchpad, SIGNAL, SIGNAL Academy, abi. Starter and abi. Pro
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of our Terms of Service. It sets out what you can and can't do when using OurIdea.ai products. We've kept it short and practical — most customers will never come close to breaching it.
1. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for all activity under your account, including any team members or seats you add.
- You must keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately at security@ouridea.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Accounts are for use by your organisation. Reselling, sub-licensing, or providing access to OurIdea.ai products to unrelated third parties is not permitted without our written agreement.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use our products only for lawful business purposes connected to your own go-to-market, sales, or marketing activities. You must not:
- Use the products to build a competing product, or to reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape our software, content, or methodology (including the SIGNAL methodology and SIGNAL Academy course content).
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other customers' accounts or data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without our prior written consent.
- Upload, submit, or transmit any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, or that you don't have the right to share (including personal data of third parties beyond what's permitted under our Privacy Policy).
- Use the products to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or to violate any applicable anti-spam laws (including PECR).
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to our systems or any other user's systems.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the products beyond normal API/integration use we've authorised.
- Misuse AI-generated outputs (e.g. presenting AI-generated GTM strategy, insights, or Academy content as independently verified fact without your own review) in a way that causes harm to third parties.
- Exceed reasonable usage limits in a way that degrades service for other customers (we'll always contact you first if this happens — see section 4).
3. Connected integrations (abi. Starter & Pro)
If you connect third-party tools (HubSpot, Stripe, Google Analytics 4, etc.) via the abi. platform:
- You confirm you have the authority to connect that account and grant us read-only access as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of data in your connected tools — our metrics and AI insights are computed from that data and are only as accurate as the source.
- You can disconnect any integration at any time via Settings → Integrations, which immediately revokes our access.
4. Fair use & service limits
Our plans include reasonable usage allowances appropriate to typical business use (e.g. number of integrations, AI insight runs, Academy seats). If your usage is significantly outside normal patterns in a way that materially impacts our infrastructure or other customers, we'll contact you to discuss options before taking any action — we won't suspend your account without warning except in cases of suspected abuse, security risk, or illegal activity (see section 5).
5. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to your account, with notice where reasonably possible, if:
- You materially breach this AUP or our Terms of Service and don't remedy it within a reasonable period after notice;
- Your use poses a security risk to us or other customers;
- We're required to do so by law or a competent authority;
- Your account is significantly overdue on payment (see your subscription terms for grace periods).
This is in addition to, and doesn't replace, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe another user is violating this policy, or you've found a security vulnerability, please contact security@ouridea.ai. See our Security page for our responsible disclosure approach.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
